Flying D is the brainchild of family friends John Marvin (JM) Leonard and Alex Nelson, who decided to return to their family roots in the Cattle Industry. They believed that promoting minimal stress techniques and ensuring that their cattle had the highest quality natural forage available would help them to build a future for their families outside of the suburban Dallas area (because well... it's Dallas)
Taking these principles to heart, Flying D raises primarily Angus and Brangus cattle and strives to deliver 100% Texas Beef to our customers and partners from just outside of San Saba, TX.
